What is HotDog Rise
A retro, skill-based climbing game with a real on-chain reward economy.
HotDog Rise is a retro-style, skill-based climbing game built on Robinhood Chain. You climb an endless tower, chain combos as you go, and the higher you rise the more you earn. It plays like a classic arcade game — reflexes and timing decide how far you get.
Underneath the arcade action sits a real reward loop: instead of ordinary points, the prizes are Stock Tokens. Play well, climb high, and compete for a weekly pool of Stock Token rewards paid out on-chain.

Why it's different
- Skill first. Your score comes from how well you climb and combo — not from paying to win.
- Real rewards. Weekly winners claim native Stock Tokens, delivered straight to their wallet.
- Two ways in. Own an HDR GameBoy, or jump in with a GamePass and still compete.

HDR GameBoys
The HDR GameBoys are the game's collectible characters — a fixed set of 3,000. Each GameBoy carries two things that shape how it earns:

GameBoys start dormant. Before one can earn, you activate it — and from there you can keep upgrading its Tier to climb the reward ladder.

Activating Your GameBoy
Before a GameBoy can earn Stock Token rewards, it has to be activated. Activation is paid in $RISE — and here's the key part: that $RISE is burned, permanently removed from circulation. It isn't collected by a treasury or the team. Every activation quietly shrinks the total $RISE supply.

Activating your GameBoy unlocks its Tier, so you can start climbing the reward ladder and upgrading over time.

Bones
Bones are the game's in-game currency. They live off-chain — a game-side balance you build up by playing, not a token you trade on a market. The way to get Bones is simple: play the game.
How you earn Bones
- Climb & combo. Chain combos as you climb — every 10-combo streak earns a Bone (with a per-run cap to keep it fair).
- Practice counts. Even Practice runs pay out Bones, so warming up still moves you forward.
- Referrals. Invite friends and earn along the way.
- Quests. Complete social and in-game quests — play 10 games, land a 10-combo, open 5 capsules, and more.
What you spend Bones on

Tiers & Multipliers
Every GameBoy has a Tier, running from T0 up to T5. You raise it by spending Bones to upgrade one step at a time — with a 7-day cooldown between upgrades so progression stays meaningful.
Why Tier matters
Your Tier sets how big a slice of the Weekly Stock Prize Pool your GameBoy is entitled to. The higher the Tier, the larger your share — a T5 GameBoy commands the biggest cut of its race.
| Tier | Pool Share Weight | Path |
|---|---|---|
| T0 | Base share (1.00×) | Starting tier |
| T1 | Higher | Spend Bones |
| T2 | Higher still | Spend Bones |
| T3 | Growing | Spend Bones |
| T4 | Large | Spend Bones |
| T5 | Largest share (up to 3.30×) | Max tier |
It's still a game of skill: climbing high and competing on the leaderboard is how the weekly standings get decided. Tier amplifies what you earn — it never replaces playing well.

Weekly Stock Prize Pool
This is the heart of the reward loop. Each week runs as its own prize round with a dedicated Stock Prize Pool.

The GameBoy you own decides which race you're in: its Stock identity maps to a specific Stock Token. Compete through the week, and when the week closes you claim your reward — the actual native Stock Token, sent to your wallet.
- One round per week. Each week has its own pool and its own winners.
- Claim what you earn. When the week wraps, you claim your Stock Token for that round.
- Multiple races at once. Hold GameBoys with different Stock identities and you compete in — and claim from — several races in parallel.

GamePass
No GameBoy? You can still play. A GamePass gets you into the game and onto the leaderboard to compete. GamePass is bought with USDG and comes in two tiers:

Basic Pass
Premium PassBooster Packs
Boosters are optional, time-limited power-ups that make your runs pay off more. Each one is active for a set number of days, then simply switches off.

Boosters are sold by duration and paid in USDG:
| Duration | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 day | 1 ![]() | A quick session boost |
| 7 days | 3 ![]() | A solid week of play |
| 30 days | 7 ![]() | Best value for regulars |
Capsules
Capsules are the game's loot drops — open one for a shot at cosmetics and rare rewards. There are two families, split by how you open them.
Bone Capsules
Opened with Bones. Every open rolls for cosmetics, with a chance at a rare $RISE reward.

Premium Capsules
Opened with USDG. Better cosmetics and higher odds on the rare rewards.
| Capsule | Opens with | Price |
|---|---|---|
Gold | USDG | 2 ![]() |
Diamond | USDG | 5 ![]() |

PvP
Want to play for real stakes? PvP is 1v1 head-to-head. Both players stake $RISE into an on-chain escrow, and the winner takes 85% of the pot.
The remainder (the rake) flows back into the economy — part of it is burned to reduce $RISE supply, and part feeds the weekly prize pool.

Energy & Lives
HotDog Rise has two ways to play, each with its own pace and its own cost.

Ranked is where leaderboard standing and Stock Prize Pool eligibility are on the line — so a Life is the ticket to a run that counts.

The Economy
Everything in HotDog Rise is designed to feed one loop. Value comes in from several places, and it's built to flow back into the parts of the game that matter to players.
Where value comes in
- Minting GameBoys — the initial NFT supply.
- In-game spending — cosmetics, boosters, passes, and capsules.
- Secondary royalties — a cut of marketplace trades.
- PvP stakes — the rake from head-to-head duels.
Where it flows back
That value is designed to power two things:

Two of the strongest signals are already live on-chain: activating a GameBoy burns $RISE outright, and every PvP duel sends part of the pot back into burn and the prize pool. The aim is a self-reinforcing cycle — the more the game is played, the bigger the rewards and the scarcer $RISE becomes.
